FACES OF US 

A six-piece series of works inspired by my darling pals - the girls that are part of my tribe, the ones with whom I lean on in challenging times, the ones who I will help at anytime, day or night, and the girls with whom I travel through life. 

Painted in acrylics, the colour palettes in each of the pieces reflects the personality of the subject.

A river of pouring acrylic inks links each of the pieces together and is representative of our 30 year journey, of the ups and downs, how some of us have branched off and then retuned to the group, and how life is simply never linear. 

Thinking of each of my friends, words inscribed within the pieces are references, reflecting my friends’ characteristics, and illustrating our differences. 

I loved creating these pieces and spending time with my pals behind the brushes. I hope they love them as much as I do.
