Kiss from a Rose. This is potentially my favourite piece. I love this piece. I think it's the combination of roses, the subtlety of the vase, the background of the deep reds, purples and pinks, and the juxtaposition of the black stripes. The black stripes is  a new experiential type style that I was trying out, and I absolutely love it -  how the angular stripes give a frame and shape to the loose nature of the flowers coming into bloom.

In this painting, you'll also find little delicate pearls and gems, and they’ve been added to give this piece extra meaning and to reflect the delicate nature of the blooms. Kiss from a Rose is also one of my favourite songs by Seal - you may remember this track from many years ago - and it just felt really fitting for this piece.  It’s memorable, it’s feminine and the black stripes give it a touch of masculinity.

The neon inset, matched with a copper insert, and then a black frame really sets it off.  For me, this hits all of the spots. It's exactly what I would want to see in my house. It's got scale, it packs a punch, and it delivers joy to every home
