I LOVE clubs...well I used to. In my late teens and 20s, I loved clubs, the freedom, the late nights, the energy, the music.

BUT - that wasn't yesterday and on a recent trip to Ibza, my pals and I booked to go to a club. I'll not lie, 2 am nights are now pretty rare so I was excited but a little nervous. Would I get a headache or turn into my 21-year-old self again...it could go either way. 

Well, it was the latter. I LOVED it...we went to one club, and then another, and then another. Before we got home, I was planning my next trip.

Why...the energy, the music, darkness, the 'dance like you just don't care', the hedonism of it...I felt so free.   I had actually started this painting before I headed to Ibiza, but it felt right to stop and finish the piece when I came home.

It was completed with 90s dance at full blast, late at night, and packed full of memories of an amazing trip to the white isle.
